Small Grants Program for Local and Regional Outreach Promoting the Understanding of Evolutionary Biology
Drs. Mariela Oviedo-Diego and Franco Cargnelutti from LABRE have obtained an international grant from the Society for the Study of Evolution (SSE). Her project involves collaboration with students and teachers from rural and urban schools in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Together, they will develop teaching activities aimed at helping students understand how human activities can influence the evolution of organisms. This initiative not only promotes scientific education, but also seeks to raise awareness about the importance of our interaction with the natural environment.
