Assistant Researcher at CONICET, Instituto de Diversidad y Ecología Animal (IDEA).
I graduate as Biologist in 2008 at Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales (Cordoba National University). During the period from 2009 to 2014 I worked at Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales “Bernardino Rivadavia” from Buenos Aires, where I developed my PhD project granted by CONICET.
My research line was the taxonomic revision and phylogeny of the genus Orchestina (Oonopidae) from America. This project was part of a bigger one whose main goal was the comprehensive revision of the family Oonopidae, which also includes other researchers of Argentina and the world. Besides, I also participate in the AToL project, aimed to unveil the phylogenetic tree of all spiders. My main interests are taxonomy, phylogeny, and morphology of Synspermiata spiders with emphasis on the superfamily Dysderoidea. Nowadays, I’m part of the Laboratorio de Biología Reproductiva y Evolución at Instituto IDEA (Córdoba), working on different aspects of the biology of Ninetinae spiders (Pholcidae) and related families, especially taxonomy, biogeography, and behavior.
