Dr. Alejandra Ceballos with the Vice-Dean and the Assistant Secretary of Social Outreach of the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (National University of Córdoba) visited last April 18th two rural primary schools in the area of Ambul in the Traslasierras Valley to lay the foundations for future outreach projects with the local community, in which several members of LABRE will actively participate. School supplies, candies and first aid kits were also donated by members of the LABRE and by the authorities of our faculty. This first visit allows to start articulating with schools to generate projects that enable sharing science and technology to different territories, stimulating scientific vocations in all ages and bringing the Public University closer to local communities to understand the multiple problems and challenges of our province.
